Ryugu in 3D: live position and orbit

A dark, carbon-rich spinning top about 900 metres across. JAXA’s Hayabusa2 fired a projectile into it to dig a fresh crater and brought 5.4 grams of it back to Earth in December 2020.

Ryugu is shown at its real position, computed from NASA/JPL ephemeris data. The view opens on Ryugu; you can travel in time, switch between the educational overview and the true-scale voyage, and compare it with every other body of the solar system.
