Pluto in 3D: live position and orbit

Demoted from planet to dwarf planet in 2006, it hosts a heart-shaped nitrogen glacier photographed by New Horizons in 2015. Its moon Charon is so large that the two form a double system.

Pluto is shown at its real position, computed from NASA/JPL ephemeris data. The view opens on Pluto; you can travel in time, switch between the educational overview and the true-scale voyage, and compare it with every other body of the solar system.
