Ceres in 3D: live position and orbit

The largest body of the asteroid belt and the only dwarf planet of the inner Solar System. NASA’s Dawn probe revealed bright salt deposits there, traces of a briny subsurface ocean.

Ceres is shown at its real position, computed from NASA/JPL ephemeris data. The view opens on Ceres; you can travel in time, switch between the educational overview and the true-scale voyage, and compare it with every other body of the solar system.
